With the countdown to the UEFA Champions League encounter against Liverpool on, Paris Saint-Germain have received a boost in the form of the return of Warren Zaïre-Emery (18).
The academy product returned to first-team training this week. Zaïre-Emery had been out of action since suffering a sprained ankle during the 4-1 win over VfB Stuttgart at the end of January. However, having made his return to first-team training earlier this week, he could make a return to the pitch as early as Wednesday night.
It had initially been thought that the France international could be a candidate to make the squad to face Lille OSC on Saturday, just four days ahead of the match against Liverpool. However, PSG have released their squad to face Stade Briochin in the Coupe de France quarter-finals and Zaïre-Emery does indeed feature. He could therefore make his return against the minnows and build up his fitness ahead of the match against Liverpool.
