Months ago, Bayern Munich were first linked with a move for Sporting CP’s Viktor Gyökeres – and according to Sport Bild, the Sweden international remains a target for the Bavarians.
In an article in Wednesday’s edition of the German sports magazine, the 26-year-old striker is named as a possible future replacement for Harry Kane.
According to Sport Bild, Gyökeres would cost around €70 million, with Manchester United, coached by former Sporting CP boss Ruben Amorim, also among his suitors.
Kane, 31, is contracted to Bayern until 2027, but Sport Bild reported earlier this month that he could leave the club via a €65 million release clause in the summer of 2026 should he wish to do so.
Gyökeres has found the net 35 times in 37 appearances for Sporting this season. His current contract runs until 2028.
