The agent of Napoli striker Victor Osimhen was present at the club’s training ground yesterday.
The Partenopei did see some of their players go to the international break but those who didn’t feature in the international break were present at the training session with new manager Walter Mazzarri yesterday. The side had a training game with Juve Stabia.
Osimhen had undergone individual training for the first time since his injury yesterday, having trained individually in the gym and on the pitch.
But Sky Italia (via CN24) also state that the Nigerian wasn’t the only one present at Castel Volturno, as his agent Roberto Calenda was also there. Club CEO Aurelio de Laurentiis was also at the training ground and it isn’t excluded that some conversations about the 24-year-old’s future took place yesterday.
There have been meetings in the past between the two parties to sort out a complicated renewal but after an initial agreement was reached, the deal didn’t materialise.
