Inter’s Hakan Calhanoglu could emerge as Juventus target

Serie A side Inter could look to make several changes to their midfield in the summer and one of them could involve Hakan Calhanoglu. The Turk’s contract at the Nerazzurri runs out at the end of the campaign and suggestions about a possible move to Juventus are growing.

Gianluca Di Marzio spoke to Sky Italia about the midfielder’s future and also noted the plans that Calhanoglu might have for his future.

The journalist – via TuttoJuve, reported that Calhanoglu would ideally want to stay at Inter for two years. But he would like to earn figures that are not too far from what he currently earns.

But so far, Inter haven’t responded to these requests and are expected to respond soon enough. The situation is currently heading to the same situation as how things were when Calhanoglu had joined Inter when his contract at Milan was running out.

Di Marzio further clarifies that Juventus want a player of the Turk’s profile and they could be interested in him soon. All of it will come down to how Inter deal with the situation and whether they can afford to lose the player to a major rival.
