VfB Stuttgart midfielder Atakan Karazor has reportedly attracted the interest of Galatasaray.
According to Bild, the Turkish giants sent scouts to watch Karazor in Stuttgart’s 3-3 draw with Borussia Dortmund at the weekend.
The report claims that Stuttgart are likely to demand at least 10 million for him, with the price likely to drop in the event of relegation.
The 26-year-old midfielder is said to be open to a move to Galatasaray, with the prospect of Champions League football tempting him.
However, with Karazor’s contract running until 2026, Galatasaray would have to reach an agreement with Stuttgart to bring him to Turkey.
Stuttgart sporting director Fabian Wohlgemuth is relaxed about the speculation surrounding Karazor’s future.
“I am sure that Atakan feels comfortable with us. Atakan has found his role in the defensive midfield and has developed into a stable factor in the first eleven,” he’s quoted by Bild.
