Borussia Mönchengladbach have extended the contract of Moritz Nicolas by a further three years until 2029.
“Mo has repaid the trust we’ve put in him with superb performances, so he’s fully deserved this long-term contract extension,” said Borussia Mönchengladbach managing director for sport Roland Virkus.
“We’re very pleased to be so well-stocked in the goalkeeper position.”
Nicolas stepped into the Gladbach goal when Jonas Omlin suffered a serious injury at the beginning of the season.
He has made 24 appearances this season.
