According to a report from Bild, Nick Woltemade (23) has rejected approaches from Chelsea and Napoli. The Stuttgart forward only wishes to join Bayern Munich this summer, but the Rekordmeister could be priced out of a move for the Germany international.
Woltemade has informed both Chelsea and Napoli of his decision, and thus meetings between representatives of the clubs and the player’s entourage will no longer take place. The 23-year-old has already reached an agreement with Bayern Munich, but the question mark surrounding whether Woltemade joins Bayern Munich this summer is whether or not the Bundesliga champions are ready to splash a significant fee for the 198cm tall striker.
With three years remaining on his contract and no exit clause, Stuttgart are free to demand an astronomical fee for Woltemade. As reported earlier, VfB are demanding around €100m for the player who scored 17 goals and provided three assists in 33 appearances across all competitions last season.
