Eintracht Frankfurt boss Markus Krösche said a few weeks ago that “in principle” Evan Ndicka “could imagine staying” at the club beyond the summer.
However, it now appears that the French centre-back has decided against renewing his expiring contract.
According to Gianluca Di Marzio, Ndicka has decided to join AS Roma rather than sign a new deal with Frankfurt.
Only the final details remain to be sorted out before the centre-back will sign a five-year contract with the Italian Serie A side, the report states.
