Tottenham are inching close to signing Rosario Central striker Alejo Veliz and Milan are now likely to miss out on the Argentine youngster.
Daniele Longo has reported about the situation of Veliz, who was linked with the Rossoneri over the last couple of days. Spurs are now firmly ahead in the race and they now seem ready to close the move.
They have offered a fee close to the player’s release clause, which is currently at around €15 million. Spurs have also opened up to the possibility of letting the player stay on loan at Rosario Central till January of 2024 and that is also said to be a positive development.
Milan’s interest has not gone beyond interest and Torino are the only Italian side to have made an offer of €6 million for the player, but it was rejected by Rosario Central and it seems as if Spurs are likely to sign the player.
