Karim Benzema will start for Real Madrid against Osasuna on Sunday, according to Carlo Ancelotti.
“Benzema is doing very well, he will start the game tomorrow. His physical condition is very good,” confirmed Ancelotti in his press conference prior to Sunday’s La Liga clash.
Benzema has missed the last three games (Mallorca, RB Leipzig and Atlético), as well as France’s UEFA Nations League matches against Austria and Denmark.
Luka Modric and Lucas Vázquez will miss the trip to Pamplona this weekend. Modric returned from the international break with a hip strain and will be out for a few days and, as confirmed by Ancelotti, he will return to training next week.
He is expected to be available for the match against Getafe on October 8. Although Vázauez completed part of the Saturday morning session with his team-mates, he has not 100% recovered from a thigh problem.
