Juan Cuadrado set for Juventus exit

Winger Juan Cuadrado is set to leave Juventus as a free agent this summer as the club has reportedly decided not to extend his present contract.

According to a report by Giovanni Albanese of La Gazzetta dello Sport, Juan Cuadrado’s contract will not be renewed by Juventus as the player will be able to leave as a free agent. 

The Colombian’s current contract expires this month and considering his performances from last season, the Bianconeri feel that it is the best way to make way for new talent to add flair to their game.

Cuadrado joined Juventus in 2015 and spent two years on loan from Chelsea before making a permanent move from London. Now after 8 years of association, the 35-year-old will leave the club after spending so many glorifying moments with the Turin-based club.

This move comes after Juventus was charged with several financial discrepancies and subtracting the salary of the Colombian would relieve some of their constraints. Cuadrado is said to be earning around €178,077 gross per week in his contract and due to his deteriorating performances, the club sees him as a liability. 

The player is quoted by LaLiga side Valencia and Turkish outfits Fenerbahçe who are aiming to secure the services of the midfielder. 

Meanwhile, Juventus are working on bringing back Arkadiusz Milik on loan from Marseille and are convincing Adrien Rabiot to extend his stay at the club.
