Jose Mourinho’s long-term future at Roma remains under doubt and it seems as if he will not stay at the club beyond the ongoing campaign.
The Portuguese’s contract at the club runs out at the end of the campaign as he had initially signed a three-year deal and while it seemed as if he would leave at the end of the Europa League final last season, he stayed.
La Gazzetta dello Sport today have taken a look at his situation and his future. It is stated that it seems unlikely that the ex-Tottenham boss stays beyond this season and the signs suggest that he will not sign a renewal at the Giallorossi. His relationship with the Friedkins is said to be tense.
Mourinho rejected an offer to go to Saudi Arabia in the summer and previously, he rejected an offer from the Portuguese national team. He won the UEFA Conference League and reached the Europa League final last season, and it seems as if the Europa League could be another chance to for them to win silverware.
