VfB Stuttgart recorded their seventh win in eight Bundesliga games this season, beating Union Berlin 3-0 in the German capital on Saturday.
As has been the case so often this season, Bundesliga leading scorer Serhou Guirassy got on the scoresheet and took his league tally to 14 in just eight games.
However, unfortunately for Stuttgart, the Guinea international went off injured after 30 minutes.
In a post-match interview, Stuttgart coach Sebastian Hoeness confirmed that Guirassy came off with a muscle problem, but wouldn’t say much more.
“He has muscular problems. We don’t have an MRI here. We will do all the other tests that are available. Then we can say more,” Hoeness told reporters.
“He could not continue to play or did not have a good feeling. Of course, we didn’t want to take any risks,” the Stuttgart coach added.
