Yannick Carrasco is eager to join Barcelona from Atlético Madrid, according to Toni Juanmartí and Matteo Moretto at Relevo.
In December it was communicated that the 29-year-old handed in a transfer request to Los Colchoneros’ board after the club had reversed their decision to renew the Belgian’s contract.
Last week it was reported that Barcelona would want to include Carrasco in the Memphis Depay deal that the two parties are currently negotiating.
However, Atlético Madrid are not keen on the idea of including both players in a possible deal and would prefer to conduct parallel discussions instead.
Nonetheless, Carrasco is very much open to the idea of moving to the Nou Camp and is hoping that the two clubs can find a solution to his situation.
Carrasco rejoined Atlético Madrid in January 2020 and was part of the side managed by Diego Simeone that won La Liga in 2021.
