Granit Xhaka has been linked with a move to Italy this summer, but now a new suitor appears to have emerged for the Bayer Leverkusen midfielder.
According to Sky Germany and transfer journalist Nicolò Schira, the 32-year-old has agreed personal terms with Saudi Arabian side Neom SC, who are reportedly offering him around €10 million net per year.
Sky further reports that Neom have informed Leverkusen of their interest in signing Xhaka and have suggested a possible transfer fee of €6 million.
So far, there is no agreement between the clubs, with important talks expected to follow on Monday.
Leverkusen have made it clear that they would prefer to keep the experienced midfielder this summer.
