Kicker reports that Wolfsburg are to turn their attention away from Inter Milan left-back Robin Gosens as he is seen as too expensive for the club.
Wolfsburg has now set their sights on Slavia Prague left-back David Jurasek. The 22-year-old fits perfectly with the philosophy that is in place at Wolfsburg. Wolfsburg are currently without a left-back as Jérôme Roussillon left the club in January for Union Berlin and Paulo Otavio their other left back joined Al-Sadd in Qatar.
Jurasek is currently valued at €3m by transfermarkt and the left-back’s contract at Slavia expires in 2026. However, Wolfsburg are also likely to face competition from RB Salzburg and Sturm Graz in Austria for the 22-year-old.
Last season, Jurasek played 45 times for Slavia Prague, scoring three and assisting 13 as the club finished second in the league behind rivals Sparta Prague, while also winning the Czech Cup by beating Sparta Prague in the final.
