Wolfsburg and Max Kruse have mutually decided to part ways.

Max Kruse’s contract with VfL Wolfsburg has been terminated with immediate effect.
“In open and honest talks, we came to the agreement that this is the best solution for all,” commented Wolfsburg sporting director Marcel Schäfer.
“We wish Max all the best for the future.”
VfL Wolfsburg coach Niko Kovac declared in September that Max Kruse would not feature for the club under him again, citing a lack of professionalism and commitment as the reasons behind the drastic decision.
