Listed as questionable headed into the weekend’s encounter, Marius Wolf is now definitely a confirmed out for Dortmund’s upcoming match against SV Werder Bremen. NRW’s “Ruhr Nachrichten”, as always, keeps close tabs on which BVB players travel with the team ahead of away fixtures. Wolf did not travel with the team, as per the newspaper.

Wolf turned in a sensational performance as the starting right fullback in last weekend’s 5-1 win over Freiburg. BVB trainer Edin Terzic kept the 27-year-old in the starting blocks for the midweek cup fixture at Bochum. Wolf had to be subbed off with shoulder problems shortly after the restart. Nico Schlotterbeck ended up finishing the game at right-back.
