A head-turning statistic, highlighting cause for concern at Barcelona, has come to the fore online on Sunday.
This, of course, comes as Hansi Flick’s troops prepare for a return to action later this evening.
Barcelona are primed to kick their campaign back into gear post-international break in a La Liga meeting with Valencia.
The Blaugrana will head into the matchup unable to call on the services of five important players through injury.
And it is the impending absences of two of these stars which should worry the Barca coaching staff.
As per a report from Mundo Deportivo, since Hansi Flick took charge last summer, neither Lamine Yamal or Frenkie de Jong have started in just four of the club’s fixtures.
These came in the form of clashes with all of Atlético Madrid, Osasuna, Celta Vigo and Las Palmas.
And Barcelona failed to emerge victorious from any of these four matches.
With both De Jong and Lamine ruled out against Valencia, the Catalans will need to put an end to this unfavourable run in efforts to close the gap on table-topping Real Madrid on Sunday.
