After just one season, Sadio Mané’s Bayern Munich future hangs in the balance. The Senegalese forward wants to remain at the club but it would appear that the Rekordmeister would be open to allowing the player to depart just 12 months into his three-year contract with the Bundesliga club.
Bayern Munich have already told Mané that he isn’t in the club’s plans and with Kingsley Coman, Leroy Sané and Serge Gnabry ahead of the attacker, it’s difficult to see where Mané fits in. Not to mention the expected arrival of Harry Kane should they reach an agreement with Tottenham Hotspur while Thomas Müller and Jamal Musiala occupy the No. 10 position at the club.
Although Mané wants to stay and fight for his place at the club, Fabrizio Romano reports that Al Nassr will push to sign the 30-year-old. Clubs from Saudi Arabia are able to offer Mané a lucrative salary while being able to pay Bayern Munich a satisfactory fee but it’s not yet clear as to whether or not Mané would be interested in a move to Saudi Arabia.
Mané scored 12 and created six in 38 games across all competitions for Bayern Munich last season.
