Brahim Díaz is currently closer to returning to Real Madrid than staying at Milan this summer, report Mundo Deportivo.
The player is in his second year on loan at the Serie A club where he is playing an important role. Milan have the option to buy at the end of the loan, but according to reports in Italy, the Italian club are not willing to pay the €22m clause included in the agreement.
Negotiations between the two clubs will continue, but there has been no agreement and Real Madrid do not rule out the idea of having Brahim in their squad for the coming season. It all depends on what happens with the contract renewals of Madrid players like Luka Modric, Marco Asensio and Dani Ceballos, which are currently up in the air. The 23-year-old’s contract at Real Madrid expires in the summer of 2025.
In the current campaign, he has scored 4 goals in 21 Serie A games.
