Werder Bremen have confirmed that Belgian defender Olivier Deman is heading out on loan.
The full-back joins Belgian side Royal Antwerp on loan for the rest of the season.
“Oliver understandably would like more football, something we cannot guarantee him at the moment at Werder,” said Werder Bremen’s head of professional football, Peter Niemeyer.
“As a result of that, we’ve agreed to his request for a loan move. We hope that Olli can get as many minutes as possible in Antwerp. He’ll then return to Bremen in the summer.”
Deman has been limited to 79 minutes of football in 11 games for Werder this season.
