Evan Ndicka and Daichi Kamada are unlikely to leave Eintracht Frankfurt in January, with board member for sport Markus Krösche insisting that no key players will be sold midway through the season.

“We won’t sell any key players”

Eintracht Frankfurt are not planning to sell any of their top performers during the January transfer window.
“Basically, we don’t want to let any players go,” Eintracht board member for sport Markus Krösche told Frankfurter Rundschau.

“Maybe we’ll loan out one or two players who haven’t played much, but we won’t sell any key players.”

Even Rafael Borré, who is not happy with his playing time, is fully expected to stay.

“‘Rafa’ knows that we want to keep him and not offload him. His representatives know that too,” said Krösche.

With regard to the players who are out of contract in the summer, such as Daichi Kamada and Evan Ndicka, Krösche noted:

“We have control over many players, but not over some. That’s just the way it is. But I don’t think there will be a big upheaval; we want to maintain continuity.”
