After failing to strengthen their defense with the signing of Kyle Walker, Bayern Munich are now set to resume their search for a number six, according to Kicker. The German publication also claims that Kolo Muani is still being considered by the club as an alternative to Harry Kane.

After losing out to Arsenal in the race to sign Declan Rice earlier in the summer, Bayern Munich put their search for a number six on hold as they prioritized the pursuit of Harry Kane and Kyle Walker.
However, after realizing that the latter will not be joining from Manchester City, the German champions now have the financial means to resume their search for a holding midfielder, according to Kicker.
As for Kane, it remains to be seen whether Bayern will succeed in their bid to bring the England captain to the Allianz Arena from Tottenham.
Should they fail, Eintracht Frankfurt’s Randal Kolo Muani remains under discussion as a possible Plan B, although there are doubts at the club because of the Frenchman’s €100 million price tag, the report claims.
