Barcelona recently completed a deal for Brazilian striker Vitor Roque and the 18-year-old has already been compared to former Barcelona striker Ronaldo Nazário.
“Vitor Roque is a lot like Ronaldo Nazário,” said former Athletico Paranaense sporting director Alexandre Mattos on RAC1.
“He is very strong mentally and is fully prepared to play for Barça.
“He is explosive, has power, the ability to score goals, and all the necessary conditions to be one of the best strikers in the world.”
El Fenómeno had a brief spell at Barcelona in the 1996-97 season, in which he scored 47 goals in 49 games under Sir Bobby Robson.
