Victor Osimhen’s agent has now arrived at the Napoli training camp and he will soon hold one last meeting with club president Aurelio de Laurentiis ahead of the striker’s contract renewal at the club.
Sky Italia report that Roberto Calenda will soon have a meeting with De Laurentiis in the next few hours and that will be a decisive meeting. The training camp is taking place at Castel del Sangro and the final details of Osimhen’s new deal will soon be sorted out.
Decisive steps have already been taken regarding the new deal and three points are now left to be finalised. They pertain to the contract length, wages and the release clause. Both parties are moving towards having a release clause of €150 million in the deal, less than the €200 million initially requested by De Laurentiis. That will be talked about in the meeting later today, with the player also set to get a wage hike.
