Victor Nelsson has asked Galatasaray to accept Sevilla’s offer, reports Estadio Deportivo.
Last week it was communicated that Sevilla have been eyeing the Danish defender as a replacement for Jules Koundé and have submitted a bid in the region of €12 million.
However, Galatasaray are not keen to budge from their €20 million asking price. It is believed that Los Nervionenses have upped their bid to a figure between €15 and €18 million.
The 23-year-old has expressed his desire to join Sevilla and has put pressure on the Turkish club to accept the offer coming from Spain.
The negotiations could be complicated by the fact that Fulham have also indicated their interest in signing Nelsson this summer.
Sevilla and Fulham might have to enter an auction to secure the services of the centre-back, however, Nelsson has maintained that his preferred destination would be Andalucía.
In July Sevilla were linked with PSG’s Thilo Kehrer, but it is proving to be very difficult to convince the German international to leave Paris.
