With Sheraldo Becker’s sale close to being brought over the line, Italian transfer guru Fabrizio Romano reports the 1. FC Union Berlin are in negotiations with Swiss Super League side for the purchase of 27-year-old Ivorian striker Chris Bedia. The former Tours academy man is in the midst of an excellent season in which he has scored 16 goals and pocketed three assists across all competitions for his current outfit.

Romano claims that a formal offer has been submitted and that negotiations are ongoing. The multiple Spanish sources reporting on Becker’s impending departure cite a transfer fee in the €5 million range set to flow into the FCU coffers.
