Die Eisernen have rewarded Burcu after a successful loan spell in the German second division.
The relationship between 1.FC Union Berlin and Livan Burcu has been officially strengthened this Tuesday afternoon in the German capital.
According to a statement from the Köpenick club, the contract with the 20-year-old attacker has been extended.
As usual, Union has not disclosed the expiration date of the new contract with Burcu who played on loan for 1.FC Magdeburg last season.
The German-born Turkish U-21 international impressed with 3 goals and 7 assists in 31 games mainly as a winger in the 2.Bundesliga.
“I am very grateful for the trust Union has placed in me. Last year’s loan helped me enormously to develop both athletically and personally.
“Now I’m looking forward to taking the next step at Union and assuming even more responsibility on the pitch. I know that I want to continue to improve,” Burcu said.
