Deniz Undav has won the Bundesliga Player of the Month award for January.

VfB Stuttgart forward Deniz Undav has been voted the Bundesliga’s Player of the Month for January.
The 27-year-old saw off competition from Alejandro Grimaldo, Piero Hincapié (both Bayer 04 Leverkusen), Jamal Musiala (Bayern Munich), Niclas Füllkrug (Borussia Dortmund) and Niels Nkounkou (Eintracht Frankfurt).
“I’m delighted to have been voted as Player of the Month again,” Undav, who also won the November award, told VfB Stuttgart’s website.
“The trophy doesn’t just belong to me, though. It’s just a lot of fun to play and perform with the boys week in, week out. We need to continue what we’re doing and not let up. I’m looking forward to what’s coming.”
