Sky Germany has named two candidates to replace the recently fired Enrico Maassen as Augsburg coach.

The German media outlet reports that André Breitenreiter is seen as a possible option.

Breitenreiter was last in charge of Hoffenheim, where he was sacked in February. He has also coached Hannover 96, Schalke 04 and SC Paderborn.

Augsburg sporting director Marinko Jurendic is no stranger to Breitenreiter, having worked together at FC Zurich.

Another contender, according to Sky Germany, is Stefan Kuntz, who lost his job as Turkey coach three weeks ago.

Augsburg announced the decision to sack Maaßen on Monday evening after Saturday’s 1-2 defeat at Darmstadt.
