Bayern Munich secured their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a 2-1 win over Glaatsaray on Wednesday night.

However, there was a fly in the ointment for the German champions as Jamal Musiala went off with an injury in the first half.

Speaking to DAZN after the game, Bayern coach Thomas Tuchel confirmed that the injury will definitely keep the youngster out of this weekend’s clash with Heidenheim.

“It’s not good information. He has a muscle injury in the back of his thigh,” Tuchel said, adding:

“In the worst case, a torn muscle fiber, but maybe just a strain. He has no chance to play against Heidenheim.”
