Tottenham, West Ham and Dortmund interested in Nicolo Zaniolo

AS Roma have put Nicolo Zaniolo on the market, with Tottenham Hotspur, West Ham United and Borussia Dortmund interested in his services, reports Italian transfer expert Gianluca Di Marzio.

Earlier reports stated that Giallorossi were keen to extend the contract of Zaniolo – which runs until 2024 – but they have now changed their stance.

The Italian capital club are looking to cash in on their prized asset, who has drawn interest from Europe’s top clubs.

Tottenham are known to be long-term admirers of Zaniolo, and their sporting director Fabio Paratici has been tracking him since his time in Italy with Juventus.

West Ham have already two Italian players Gianluca Scamacca and Emerson Palmieri under their disposal, and they are looking to add another one in Zaniolo.

Dortmund could be in the market sooner for attacking reinforcements owing to the uncertain futures of Youssoufa Moukoko and Marco Reus.

Despite not reaching the level he was expected to, Zaniolo is still regarded as one of the best young prospects in Europe.

After years of stagnancy due to a string of injury problems, the 23-year-old has been slowly returning to the fold over the last couple of seasons.

Zaniolo enjoyed a productive Europa Conference League campaign last season, racking up five goals and assists, including the winning strike in the final against Feyenoord.

He has netted two goals and three assists in 17 appearances this term.

One of his biggest strengths is his flexibility to play in multiple positions in the attack, such as false 9, No.10 and left wing.

Giallorossi are willing to listen to offers for no less than €35 million for Zaniolo.
