According to a report by Sports Zone, Tottenham Hotspurs have made AS Monaco’s Vanderson (23) their top target as they look to replace Emerson Royal (25) who has left the club to join AC Milan. The French outlet explains that while Vanderson is aware of the interest he has not yet given his agreement to the English club.
Tottenham have been tracking Vanderson for a while with Fabrizio Romano reporting in June that the club were lining the Monaco fullback up as a potential replacement for his Brazilian compatriot. However, a deal still remains difficult for Tottenham to complete.
Les Monégasques are in no rush to sell a defender who has progressed well since arriving from Grêmio in January 2022 (despite injuries disrupting last season’s campaign with the club) and reportedly would want more than €40 million for the Brazil international who has a contract running until 2028.
