Serie A side Torino are still said to be interested in lining up a deal to sign Marseille’s attacking midfielder Ruslan Malinovskyi.
The Ukranian midfielder is said to be available for a fee of around €10million and according to Corriere della Sera, the Turin based club are willing to negotiate around that figure, despite already agreeing a move for West Ham’s Nikola Vlasic for around the same price.
One stumbling block however could be the interest from Turkish side Besiktas, who are said to have offered a loan with obligation to buy, totalling the required €10million fee set out by the player’s parent club.
However, Italian football writer Daniele Longo tweeted that the player appears to prefer a move back to Italy over a move to Turkey and is keen to get a deal done with Ivan Juric’s side.
The 30 year old enjoyed a very productive three and half season spell with Atalanta prior to moving to Marseille this past January.
