Timo Horn “firmly assumes” that he will stay at FC Köln despite slipping down the pecking order.
The 29-year-old, who lost his starting place to Marvin Schwäbe last season, told Kicker:
“At the moment, I’m firmly assuming that I’ll stay at Köln and perform as well as possible.
“At the same time, a transfer is not excluded. But I’ll let it all come to me. I’m relaxed about it all.”
Asked where he sees himself in half a year, Horn replied:
“Very good question. It’s really hard to say. But as of now, I’m clearly assuming that I’ll be at Köln.”
Horn’s contract expires in 2023.
