Summary
- Tiffany Stratton has revealed her ‘Mount Rushmore’ of the greatest women’s wrestlers in the history of World Wrestling Entertainment.
- There is no room for legends the likes of Trish Stratus or Lita on Stratton’s four-woman shortlist.
- The 25-year-old instead opted for a modern quartet, including Charlotte Flair, and Bayley.
Tiffany Stratton is well on her way towards making a name for herself as a potential era-defining star in the WWE. ‘Tiffy’ boasts all of the necessary traits for a successful modern wrestler, from in-ring skill to a perfectly crafted character. And the 25-year-old evidently feels as though much of the credit for paving the way for her should go to four women in particular.
Stratton recently sat down for an interview with Steve Fall of WrestlingNewsCo, during which she was drawn on the hot debate of ‘Mount Rushmore’. This requires the interviewee to name their personal four-man (or in this case woman) shortlist of the greatest WWE superstars ever. And the former gymnast was quick to point towards four modern-day icons in her response:
“I believe the Four Horsewomen would be, you know, the Mount Rushmore of women’s wrestling.”
So, there you have it. Tiffany Stratton’s WWE Mount Rushmore features Charlotte Flair, Becky Lynch, Bayley, and Sasha Banks.
Charlotte Flair
We kick things into gear on Tiffany Stratton’s Mount Rushmore with ‘The Queen’, Charlotte Flair. If taking into account success between the ropes, and titles secured, Charlotte has a claim to being the undisputed GOAT of women’s wrestling. The 38-year-old is a 14-time women’s champion in the WWE, twice as many reigns as any other superstar in the division. Flair’s success has in the past, on occasion, given rise to claims of favouritism on the part of the WWE board. But it is hard to argue with her worthiness of being the most decorated female wrestler of all time. Flair is simply greatness personified. She is a physical specimen with the ability to not only overpower her opponents, but also take things to the sky when needed. Add to this unmatched will, determination and the required ‘aura’ of one of the faces of the company, and Flair is an excellent choice on Stratton’s part.
Becky Lynch
It seems only right that, following Charlotte on a WWE Mount Rushmore of women’s wrestlers should come none other than Becky Lynch. The Dublin native, at the peak of her popularity, took female wrestling to never-before-seen heights. Whilst booked as ‘The Man’, Lynch was arguably the most beloved figure in the WWE, male or female. As much culminated in the first-ever women’s main event at WrestleMania, a match from which the 38-year-old emerged triumphant. For her part, Lynch sits joint-2nd on the all-time list of women’s titles, with seven to her name. Unmatched when it comes to getting a crowd up out of their seats, the ‘Irish Lasskicker’ is another more than worthy pick from Tiffany Stratton.

Bayley
Another entry, another of the ‘Four Horsewomen’ of the WWE. Bayley is another of those to have paved the way for the modern generation of women’s wrestling talent. Be it as a face, heel, or anything in between, one thing is guaranteed with Bayley: excellence. The California native has at times during her career gone a touch under the radar, owing to the star power of the likes of Flair and Lynch. But throughout, Bayley has been a consistent source of brilliance in and out of the ring alike. Her promo work is top-notch, storytelling superb, and the 35-year-old’s talents between the ropes have given rise to five women’s title reigns. A Hall of Famer in waiting, Bayley will go down as one of the greats.
Sasha Banks (Mercedes Moné)
Rounding out Tiffany Stratton’s four-woman Mount Rushmore shortlist is Sasha Banks. Banks, for her part, is no longer part of the WWE, having departed the company back in 2022. But to say that she left a legacy before moving on would be putting it lightly… Banks often split crowds owing to her egocentric attitude and penchant for heel turns. But whether it was through cheers or boos, ‘The Boss’ always, always provoked a reaction – the mark of a true superstar. She was also a stellar athlete between the ropes, willing to put her body through hell for the good of the match. Add to this six separate championship reigns, and Banks’ is the perfect name to round out any women’s Mount Rushmore.
