Marcus Thuram is in a battle against time to get fit for Borussia Mönchengladbach’s Bundesliga clash with Bayer Leverkusen on Sunday.
Thuram hasn’t trained with his teammates since he picked up a knock in a friendly against St. Pauli last week and was absent from training once more today.
Whether he’ll make the squad is doubtful, although Gladbach coach Daniel Farke insisted yesterday that the injury isn’t serious.
“It’s nothing serious with ‘Tikus’. We’ll have to look at him day by day,” Farke explained.
