Marcel Halstenberg completed team training on Thursday after a bout with influenza, meaning he could return to the pitch against Leverkusen this weekend. Lukas Klostermann and Konrad Laimer couldn’t participate with the entire squad, but were both seen back on the training ground.
Klostermann is still recovering from a ligament rupture and it’s unlikely he’ll be ready for league play in 2022. Laimer is similarly out with a ligament tear, as he could only complete individual work.
Dani Olmo could be ready to play 90 minutes on Matchday 12 after being used as a substitute against Real Madrid.
