The Miz’s 3-Month Body Transformation Leading Up to WrestleMania 41

Before WrestleMania 41, WWE superstar The Miz decided to get into the best shape of his life, documenting his progress on social media over three months. Despite not being on the card at this year’s ‘Grandest Stage Of Them All,’ it is a tradition that, every January, Miz decides to ‘flip the switch’ and get rid of some unwanted pounds left over from Thanksgiving and Christmas.

The 44-year-old played a role in the mid-card section of the main roster, forming a tag team with rising star Carmelo Hayes. He recently won the Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal, a yearly tradition that the WWE hosts either during or before WrestleMania. Miz has played a pivotal role in recent years in mentoring younger stars such as Logan Paul, something he wasn’t initially comfortable doing but grew into the role.

It’s fair to say that The Miz doesn’t have the best physique in the WWE, but it’s well known that he’s one of the hardest-working superstars on the roster. There’s no doubt that he is almost certainly Hall of Fame-worthy in the future. Every January, Miz, whose real name is Michael Mizanin, vows to get into what he calls ‘WrestleMania shape’ during ‘WrestleMania season.’ This was just before WWE went on their tour of Europe before the ‘Showcase Of The Immortals’ in Las Vegas.

Miz’s starting weight was 216.7 lbs, which converts to 15 stone and six pounds, and had a body fat percentage of 17.3%. He said it wasn’t bad, but wasn’t worthy of WWE’s biggest stage. He posted the entire transition on his Instagram page, covering his entire workout program as well as the travelling to live shows that were included.
