Five members of the first-team ranks at La Liga giants Barcelona have taken part in a Champions League semi-final tie earlier in their respective careers.
Barcelona are of course fresh off securing their place in the final four of European football’s premiere club competition.
Despite being put to the sword by Borussia Dortmund on Tuesday night, the Blaugrana comfortably advanced, owing to a 4-0 first-leg rout.
As much means that a whole host of members of Hansi Flick’s squad are facing up to their first experiences of a Champions League semi-final tie.
For a select few, though, this is a point which they have navigated in the past.
As per Diario Sport, the following Barcelona players have previously lined out in the final four in the competition:
Marc-André ter Stegen, Frenkie de Jong, Andreas Christensen, Robert Lewandowski, and Dani Olmo.
In addition, three of these five have marched all the way to glory, namely Ter Stegen, Christensen, and Lewandowski.
