Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic gave an update on Sebastien Haller, Jamie Bynoe-Gittens and Jadon Sancho ahead on Tuesday’s clash with Atletico Madrid.
At a press conference on Monday, Borussia Dortmund coach Edin Terzic gave an update on his squad ahead of Tuesday’s Champions League quarterfinal return leg against Atletico Madrid.
Sebastien Haller, who was taken off 10 minutes into Saturday’s 2-1 win over Gladbach, has injured his ankle again.
“He will now have a week of complete rest. A final diagnosis will be made on Saturday to determine the length of his absence. We’re expecting him to be out for two to three weeks,” Terzic said.
Jamie Bynoe-Gittens was also forced off against Gladbach, “but he is already feeling better,” Terzic said.
“We hope he will be able to complete training with us.”
Jadon Sancho was back on the pitch with his teammates on Sunday after missing the Gladbach game through illness and will be in the squad to face Atletico, Terzic confirmed.
