Bayer Leverkusen will be without Nathan Tella for their Champions League opener against FC Copenhagen on Thursday.
The 26-year-old was not included in the squad announced on Wednesday afternoon.
According to Bild, Tella picked up a knock to his knee during Leverkusen’s 3-1 win over Eintracht Frankfurt.
His availability for Sunday’s Bundesliga clash with Borussia Mönchengladbach remains uncertain.
