After coming from behind to salvage a 3-3 draw against Ukraine in their first June match earlier this week, Germany will be looking to show a different face against Poland tonight.

Speaking at his pre-match press conference, Germany coach Hansi Flick confirmed that he will be making a number of changes, with Emre Can and Jamal Musiala among those coming into the starting line-up.

“Of course we have thought about who we want to play. We will make some changes. Jamal Musiala will play from the start,” said Flick.

“Emre [Can] will start in Poland, he is good for the team. We’ll watch the game and hope to do better than against Ukraine.”

Flick will be without the services of RB Leipzig duo Timo Werner and Lukas Klostermann, who are both out with injuries.

Ilkay Gündogan and Robin Gosens joined the squad late after playing in the Champions League final, but are unlikely to start.

Poland coach Fernando Santos may opt to rest some of his players, as his side have a Euro qualifier against Moldova on Tuesday.
