Serhou Guirassy only joined Stuttgart the club on a permanent basis this summer following a successful loan spell but according to Kicker, the Frenchman and his management has already received enquiries from various clubs.
The 27-year-old, who scored 14 and created two in 28 games on loan from Rennes last season, could leave for a fee between €15m and €20m, a significant return on the €9m that Stuttgart paid. Although the Frenchman missed 10 weeks last season due to an adductor injury, his performances was always going attract attention from other European clubs.
Although a contract until 2026, Guirassy’s future at Stuttgart is completely open and a departure this summer isn’t ruled out. In the worst case scenario, VfB have identified AZ Alkmaar’s Vangelis Pavlidis as a replacement. The 24-year-old has entered the final 12 months of his contract at the Dutch club and should they receive a fee in excess of €10m, AZ would likely allow Pavlidis to depart the club.
