VfB Stuttgart have expressed an interest in FC Porto midfielder Marko Grujic, according to Sky Germany.

The report claims that talks between the two clubs have already begun, but the problem is that Porto would prefer to sell, while Stuttgart would like to loan him with an option to buy.

Grujic, who played for Hertha on loan from Liverpool between 2018 and 2020, could add much-needed depth to Stuttgart’s central midfield.

Porto paid €9 million to sign him from Liverpool a year and a half ago. His contract runs until 2026.
