Kicker reports that Stuttgart are close to agreeing a deal to sign FC Köln’s promising striker Justin Diehl.

With FC Köln under a transfer ban for this window and the next, the Billy Goats will be determined to keep their current squad together as much as possible.
However, it looks like they won’t be able to prevent the departure of talented striker Justin Diehl, as Kicker reports that the 19-year-old is close to signing for VfB Stuttgart.
According to the German football magazine, Stuttgart could finalize a deal to sign Diehl as early as this week, with a summer move on the cards.
As Diehl’s contract expires at the end of the season, no transfer fee would be due.
After scoring plenty of goals for the U19 team, the youngster made his senior debut for Köln in Saturday’s 1-1 draw with Heidenheim.
