Multiple reports claim that VfB Stuttgart are on the verge of signing El Bilal Touré from Atalanta.
VfB Stuttgart are reportedly closing in on a deal to sign Atalanta striker El Bilal Touré.
According to Fussballtransfers and Fabrizio Romano, the Swabian club have agreed a deal to sign the 22-year-old.
Both sources mention a possible fee of €18 million. According to Fussballtransfers, a loan deal with a purchase option of €18 million is on the table.
However, Bild reports that an agreement has not yet been reached, claiming that Stuttgart have had a loan offer of €2 million rejected as Atalanta are holding out for more than €5 million.
Last summer, Atalanta reportedly paid a whopping €30 million to sign Touré from Almeria, making him the most expensive signing in the club’s history.
The 22-year-old missed the entire first half of the season with a serious thigh injury. He ended up scoring two goals in 11 appearances in his first season in Serie A.
