Stuttgart are actively looking to offload Borna Sosa (24) is the January transfer window as they look to generate funds, according to Sky Germany. The Bundesliga side are hoping to receive a fee between €15m and €25m.
Sosa, who was a candidate for a departure in the summer, changed consulting agency. The Croatian is now represented by ICM Stellar, one of the biggest agencies in the world. Former VfB sporting director, Michael Reschke, is head of European football at ICM Stellar, and was responsible for bringing Sosa to VfB in 2018.
With a contract at Stuttgart until 2025, the Swabians didn’t receive a satisfactory offer during the summer despite several European clubs actively showing an interest. Representing Croatia at the World Cup later this month, Sosa has the opportunity to put himself in the shop window. The left-back already has seven assists in 12 games across all competitions for VfB this season.
