Lars Stindl says he needs “a little more time” to think about if he wants to extend his contract with Gladbach, which expires in the summer.
“The people in charge around Roland Virkus and I had a very good exchange,” the Gladbach captain said in an interview with Sport Bild.
They also discussed “”where the club wants to go, how the team should be rebuilt,” and Stindl “clearly communicated” his opinion on this.
34-year-old Stindl has played a total of 257 games for Gladbach with 79 goals and 61 assists to his name.
